The Discoverlist Web site (“Site”) and Mobile Application (“Discoverlist”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) are part of a social platform that inspires its users to showcase travel experiences through photos, videos, comments, and messaging (collectively, the “Services”). We are thankful that you have decided to engage with our community, and would like to ensure that we maintain a strict privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) that serves to protect you and your information. The following describes our Privacy Policy, how and when personally identifiable information is obtained, utilized, disclosed and protected throughout our Site. Our Site and Mobile Application is intended solely for use by persons 13 years of age or older. All persons under 13 years of age are prohibited.

What information do we collect?

We gather information to enhance and personalize your overall user experience. When you create an Account, you will provide some personally identifiable information, such as your name, sex, location, date of birth, password and email address. If you access the Services through Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter credentials, we may automatically collect certain information, such as your name, picture, location, date of birth, gender, and email address. All information that is obtained through Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter will be used in accordance with the respective policies.

As permitted by law, we may use your contact information to send you information about our Services, when we feel such information is important. You may unsubscribe from these messages through your Account settings, although we reserve the right to contact you even if you unsubscribe when we believe it is necessary in connection with the Services, such as for Account recovery purposes. Please note that we do not rent, sell, or share your personally identifiable information with third parties or nonaffiliated companies, except in cases where you have granted permission.

We reserve the right to produce and share “aggregate” information. This aggregate information is data we collect about a segment of our users which does not contain any personally identifiable information. We may use this data to generate quantitative and qualitative information and statistics about our users. This aggregate data may be based on geo-location, demographics, usage activity, or related subject matter.

You have the right to decide how much personally identifiable information to disclose, and may change your preferences at any time. As you navigate through our Site and Mobile Application, you will come across some areas that require additional information. You have the right to refuse to submit this information, but this may deny access to specific Discoverlist features and experiences. Additionally, it will restrict our ability to provide you with a superior experience. The following provides an expanded list of some of the information we collect:
